How to send out a digital coupon via our built-in bulk email marketing tool
It's possible to send out your digital coupon via our built-in email marketing software. Follow my lead for the configuration.
BE AWARE: ONLY SEND OUT TO PEOPLE IN YOUR OPT-IN DATABASE. IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO SPAM PEOPLE WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION.
First, navigate to 'integrations' (1). Then select 'email marketing' (2).
Let's first import a ready-to-use contact list as a CSV file to send out your campaigns to. Click on 'manage lists' (1).
Now, click on 'add list' (1). The following modal appears. Give your list a name (2) and hit proceed (3).
Hit 'view list' (1) to start importing your contact list.
(1) Add contact means that you can add a detailed contact with relevant details such as gender, name, address,..
(2) Import email: use the feature if you only want to manually import a few email address (without any additional data) into your list.
(3) Import CSV file: We're going to use the option. If allows you to import ready-to-use CSV files with contact details.
First select the CSV file you want to upload. I'm using the (Semicolon) example file (1). Next, select to which list you want to import the personal data in your CSV file (2). Hit 'import (3).
Now match the input with the labels in your contact list. Finally, hit import.
This is what the final import looks like.
Now, let's get back to the email marketing overview. Then click on 'select coupon' to continue the configuration of you coupon emails.
Once you have selected your coupon, you'll end up on the following page to configure your email marketing parameters.
Customize the email sender name.
Customize the email sender address
Enter a subject for your email.
Select a predefined layout for your email.
Select field names for personalization. These names will be replaced by the actual values in your contact list.
Customize your email body text
Decide if you show a unsubscribe link in your email. This is obligated in most countries.
Finally, hit 'save email settings'.
All changes you configured only take place in preview when you hit 'save email settings'.
Once we have put this in place, it's time to send out. Since we have already prepared our contact list, let's send out to a group of people. Select 'bulk send' (8).
The following modal appears. First, select your contact list (1). I leave this box unchecked (2) so this system will automatically remove duplicates. Enable 'send on date-time' to schedule your message. Finally, hit send to send out your (scheduled) message (4).
Congratulations! You have set up your first bulk email coupon campaign.
