Import and distribribution tools loyalty card
With our import and distribution tool in the Coupontools Builder, you can easily import users and distribute loyalty cards. Follow the steps below to complete this process smoothly.
Log in to the Coupontools Builder.
Go to the Loyalty Cards section.
Create a new loyalty card or select an existing one.
In the left sidebar, find the Import option.
Click on Import.
You will now see the option to upload a CSV file.
Click on the paperclip or the input field to select and upload your file.
Recommended: Save your loyalty card settings before importing users, as changes in settings may affect the imported users.
CSV files can be stored in two ways:
Comma-separated (CSV-comma separated)
Delimited by other characters (CSV-delimited)
Select the correct method based on your file format and click Proceed to continue.
After uploading, you will see an overview of the columns from your CSV file. Here, you can determine which data to display on the loyalty card.
Click on different components on the front and back of the card to choose which information to display.
If your file contains duplicate entries, you can specify unique identifiers (such as email addresses) to ensure that each user receives only one loyalty card.
If your CSV file contains a phone number column, you can choose to send loyalty cards via SMS.
Write a personalized message.
Use dynamic fields such as {name}, {email}, and {phone number} to automatically customize the message for each user.
Important: As soon as you click 'import', if you have an SMS account linked with available credits, the loyalty cards will be sent immediately.
Click Import to upload the users.
You will receive an overview showing:
Successfully imported records
Duplicates (e.g., when an email address already exists)
Invalid records (e.g., missing or incorrect data)
