How to fix Zapier error: destination number invalid?

Reason

You try to send an SMS through Zapier but the phone number is incorrect formatted.

Solution

Zapier has a number formatter tool so you can fix the number format before sending the SMS message.

How

• Add a formatter step between the trigger and action.
• Select "helper step" -> "Formatter"
• Now select: "Numbers"
• In the transform dropdown select "Format Phone Number"

Now you have to select:

Input : the phone number field which contains the wrong formatted number
To: Select here option 8: No symbols, international
Country: Your country (eg US)

After setting up these Formatter the number will be formatter automatically by Zapier and will be recognized by Coupontools.
