Automated push notification to mobile wallet x days before coupon/voucher expires

It is possible to automatically notify customers, who saved their coupon to their mobile wallet, when te coupon is about to expire. You can send, for example, a push notification x days before expiration. Follow my lead to set it up.

Create Coupon

First, you should create a digital coupon. So open your coupon builder and pick a template. Just pay close attention to the following to features to allow push notifications to a Mobile Wallet.

Pay close attention to the expiration date. Open the general settings (1) and scroll down until you see the expiration date. (2)



Toggle the 'save2MobileWallet' feature. Navigate to 'after claim' (1) -> 'save methods' (2) and enable 'save2MobileWallet' (3)



Save and close your coupon builder.

Create automation

Now this is correctly set up, let's create the automation.

In your account's dashboard, click on 'integrations' (1) and then select the automation flow builder (2)

Keep in mind that you need to first ask access to the automation flow builder. Get in touch with support.

Once you have access to the feature, you'll find it at integrations (1), flow automation (2). Hit proceed to open the creator.




Then press 'add automation'



Now select 'coupon'



Select the coupon you want to set up an automated flow for. This modal appears.




Press on 'X days before expiration'.



Then select 'send'




Now you'll see a text with red words in it. First press on the red 'X'. Enter the numbers of days. I'm going for 2 in this example. Hit Proceed




Now press on 'Y' and select how you're going to send a message. Select 'Push notification'.



Next, press on the 'Z' and select 'Customer'. Hit 'continue' and next 'create'.

Congratulations, you have succesfully set up an automated push notification for a coupon in a Mobile Wallet.
