Can Coupontools help CPG or FMCG brands with their coupons?

Consumer packaged goods (CPG) is an industry term for merchandise that customers use up and replace on a frequent basis. Examples of consumer packaged goods include food, beverages, cosmetics and cleaning products. CPG can be contrasted with durable goods (DG), an industry term for merchandise that is not consumed or destroyed in use and is generally not replaced until the merchandise experiences a problem. Examples of durable goods include appliances, furniture and automobiles.

Coupontools is mostly used by brands who own their own POS system or small businesses.
Coupontools can create coupons and display (unique) barcodes of any format. (GS1, Aztec, QRcode, PDF417, EAN, UPCA)

For CPG/FMCG brands this POS integration is much more complex.
Coupontools is NOT a coupon clearing house. We do not handle payment transactions between retailers and CPG or FMCG brands.
Coupontools is a digital coupon software that allows you to create coupons and distribute the coupons.
The client is responsible for adding the correct barcodes and the cashback between CPG and the retailer.
Coupons are not redeemable in any store if the CPG brand does not have a partnership with the retailer.

What is possible:
1) The CPG/FMCG brand makes a partnership with a retailer where his products are sold.
2) The retailer provides the CPG/FMCG brand a barcode or list of unique barcodes that are scannable with that resellers POS
3) These barcodes can be setup in your digital coupon
4) The retailer invoices the CPG/FMCG brand the amount of scanned coupons per month.

Remarks;
- Some retailers do not want to accept digital coupons. You can create a print@home coupon too with our software.
