How to import or generate access codes for a Coupon Directory

It is possible to require an access code for users registering themselves for your coupon directory.

What is an access code? It's a code that the user needs to fill in for access to your directory. Without the code or when entered a false code, access to the directory is denied. It is possible to import or generate up to 50 000 unique access codes!

How to import my own access codes?

Open your coupon directory builder.
Enable user registration at the 'Auth (1)' tab and enable 'Require authentication (2)'.

Now, navigate to the 'Payments (3)' tab. First, allow the payment option (4). Then, open the dropdownmenu 'Payment methods (5)' and enable the feature Access codes (6). Click on 'Manage access codes (7)'.

The popup below opens. There are two ways to use access codes in your directory: import a .txt-file (1) or auto-generate them via our system (2).

1. Import a .txt file.

First create a .txt file with the access codes. Keep in mind to set up random promo codes and to have each code start on a new line. Otherwise, it won't work properly.

Now, let's upload the file you just created. Click on the paperclip to select the .txt-file (1) and then click on 'Import promo codes (2).

2. Auto-generated by our system

Another option is to auto-generate accesscodes using our system. This way, you're already certain of random codes.

1) Enter how many unique codes you need.
2) Select if the codes should be alphabetic, numeric or alphanumeric.
3) Enter how many characters the code should consist of.
4) Click on 'Generate codes'.

After you hit import or generate, the codes will be added to the promo codes overview. This is what my example looks like:

1) .txt file imported codes
2) Auto-generated codes.

Below, you'll still find the option to add more codes.
