Which data & cookies are stored?
Tracking cookie (if the same user opens the coupon again later it will recognize the same coupon)
Device type (Apple, Windows, Android, etc)
Status; opened, claimed, validated.
Redeem location (only if it's known)
Other data can be collected, but that depends on the settings which you have setup in your campaign. If you create a campaign with data capture where you ask for the first and name these data will be stored on our servers too.
By default we don't store GPS locations.
You can setup your campaign to 'ask the user for GPS location'. If the user accepts that popup we'll store the lat/long in our database too.
We do not add marketing cookies to the coupons BUT you as creator of the campaign are able to add more tracking cookies to the coupons through the coupon builder. You, as the creator of the campaign, are responsible to notify the user of marketing cookies if you are using those. You can modify the terms&conditions from the coupon through the coupon builder.
Vouchers have exact the same logs as coupons. The only difference is we store the payment status of the voucher to know if it was payed or not. We do not store credit cards in our database. Those data is stored at the payment provider only (Eg Stripe or Paypal).
For loyalty cards we only store the user registration data (name, email, phone (optional), password (in case of email registration).
If the user logged in with Social Login (Facebook Login) we store the Facebook login ID. We also store which loyalty card is linked with the user + usage logs.
If you create a coupon directory it can be with or without user registration. If user registration is enabled we store the user registration information (name, email, phone (optional), social login (optional), password (in case of email registration).
Passwords are stored encrypted.
In case you are using payments combined with the coupon directory we also store the payment STATUS and a payment log. We do not store credit cards in our database. Those data is stored at the payment provider only (Eg Stripe or Paypal).
