How can the coupons be validated? Show me all available validation methods?
At the moment we have 6 different methods to validate a coupon. You can use 1 method or combine multiple methods for each coupon.
1. On mobile device
Validate the coupon on the customer's device either by entering a password or simply pressing a 'redeem' button without password. (This option does not work for printable coupons.)
2. QR code validatiEinige LeserHow do I display a fixed promo code on my coupon?
To display a fixed promo code on the validation page of your coupon, go to Validation methods in the After Claim in the coupon builder and go to Show the coupon value.
Click on the dropdown menu underneath 'Title:', select Promo code and press Save.
 Generate unique barcodes in your POS platform and let Coupontools display a unique barcode on each coupon.

Yes, you can use your own barcodes combined with our coupon solution.
If you own a POS which allows you to generate unique barcode values you can generate those codes in the POS and upload them into Coupontools so your coupons are directly scannable at your POS.
First create your coupon with the coupon builder.
Go to the "Validation methods" under "After claim" and turn on 'Display your own imported validation codes'.

With the validation widget method you can save some additional information after validating a coupon from a customer.
You can save the gender, first name and last name, email, phone number and also the amount of money they have spent in your store.

Bent and/or cracked phone screens have also been known to cause issues. While we have seen some success, we can't promise that stamps will work reliably on these devices.

Yes, when printing out a coupon you will be able to see a QR-code, Validation widget code and/or barcode.
Here is an example of how a printed coupon looks like with validation methods.
So the validation process remains exactly the same as digital if you are using: QR code validation or barcode validation or the validation widget/app. The physical stamp device and on mobile device solution will not work on the printed coupon.
