Can I make vouchers or gift cards?
Yes, we now support vouchers/gift cards on the Coupontools platform! In order to create one, go to Vouchers (1) on the main menu of your Coupontools account and select Create voucher (2) A pop up will show up and you are able to select from which template you would like to start.
How can I simulate the purchase of a voucher?
You can use our Stripe payment method to simulate a purchase of the voucher. You will notice that Stripe already has a secret key and a publishable key for every template. You can replace our example Stripe keys with your own test keys so you can see the payment in your Stripe dashboard. Which payment methods do you support for vouchers?
We support the following payment methods: PayPal Stripe (credit cards) Mollie (multiple payment provider: Combine payment collection from Apple Pay, Credit Cards, PayPal, Ideal, SEPA, Sofort Banking, Bancontact in EUR of USD.) We also support a custom payment method. You can setup your custom payment system with a URL.
Can I display a unique validation code or barcode to each voucher purchaser?
Yes, you can import your own validation codes or barcode values and combine these with voucher purchases. First create your voucher with the voucher builder. Go to the "Validation methods" under "After purchase" and turn on 'Display your own imported validation codes'. A button that says 'Manage your own validation codes' will pop up right next to it. Can I use my own payment provider for vouchers?
Yes, we also support a custom payment method. It allows you to link your custom payment system with a URL and allows you to develop the payment flow yourself. Don’t have a developer? No problem. Contact us which payment provider you want to add and we can make a quote for you!
Can I limit the quantity of purchased items?
Yes, you can! To limit the amount of quantity for items inside a voucher, go to Make a payment (2) under Payment Settings (1). Features you can't adjust while your digital voucher is active
There are a few features in the voucher builder you can't adjust anymore when you switch your digital voucher's status from 'example' to 'active'. Why? That's because when you launch a campaign, all campaign data is stored in our databases. If you adjust these critical features while the campaign is active, it disorders and changes the current campaign flow.
